How do I reboot a Dell laptop without the disc and system restore?

I have a Dell laptop E1505 and its running very slowly.And I just got Guild Wars! =( Anyway, my earliest date on system restore is yesterday…And I don't have the disc.Someone help?

How to activate the numerical “keypad” and other accessary key pads (marked in blue) on a Gateway Laptop?

My Gateway Laptop has an "Fn" key highlighted in blue in the lower left of the key pad. When I use it (press down on it) and use another of the accesroy (in blue) keys - eg. screen brightness / screen dimmness - nothing happens.
What is the procedure? What else might [...]
