Cheap Laptops and More

I Don't know how to fix it on my hp laptop (vista) it said something with BIOS or something. Well i need someone to point out the exact steps to do it. for example Start>Control Pannel> ext.

i got a dell laptop in the summer of 2007… it’s in pretty good condition. it still works really well and the speed is fast. the front of it has some scratches, but otherwise it looks perfectly fine.
i didnt use that much of the memory.
how much do you think i could get for it?
