can I take a disc of windows XP that came with my new gateway laptop, and install it on an acer laptop?
My old gateway laptop came with a licensed copy of Windows XP, my Acer laptop has an unlicensed copy of Windows XP. I don’t plan on using the Gateway anymore. The installation disc says it is only for use with gateway computers. Can I put the licensed copy on my Acer? Or, can I use [...]
